Hi, I’m Jaime!

I am a chef, baker, photographer, and writer based in Hudson, New York. My work focuses on sustainable, seasonal, and accessible food systems, highlighting the ways in which food expresses identities and bridges cultural, political, and economic divisions.

I am a graduate of the Food Studies program at New York University, and spent nearly ten years working in the New York City food industry. I relocated from Brooklyn at the beginning of 2024 and have spent the past few years in the Hudson Valley plugging into roles with Mel the Bakery, Hawthorne Valley, and Lil Deb’s Oasis to cater, bake, and learn from other inspired food professionals. I work currently as the pastry chef at Nines in Germantown, NY in addition to offering private dinners and custom cake and pastry commissions.

I believe firmly in the power of food to bring people together and help share our stories. Through connections to agriculture and the environment, as well as studies of social and cultural dynamics, I hope to fundamentally change the way we think and talk about food from the ground up.
